Call for Special Sessions - ICEESI 2026
Invitation for Special Session Proposals
The organizing committee of ICEESI 2026 invites proposals for Special Sessions at the conference to be held at O.P. Jindal University, Raigarh, CG, India.
Proposals are encouraged in the following areas:
- New and emerging topics across all Power System/Power Electronics/Control/High Voltage/Electrical Machine/Electronics/Signal Processing/Communication sub-disciplines.
- Novel use of modern technology for Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- A session should be composed of minimum 10 papers and maximum of 20 papers.
- Please read carefully the submission guidelines outlined below before submitting your proposal through the link at the bottom.
Proposal Submission Guidelines
- Each session proposal should include an abstract together with a background and justification paragraph, where the session organizers elaborate on the motivation behind the special session, the quality and potential impact of the committed papers in the proposed session, and the technical committee most closely allied with the proposal.
- Each proposal should also include a title, list of authors, and short abstracts of the committed papers. The complete proposal should be limited to no more than 3 pages. A special session is expected to address topics that may not naturally arise out of the regular submissions to the conference through the technical committees. The justification for the proposal should explain why a special session is needed to address the proposed topic.
- No individual can appear as author or co-author on more than one paper in a single special session. An exemption can be made when the first paper is an overview paper (preferably by the organizers). In this case, the co-authors of the first paper can be co-authors of one additional paper in the same session. ICEESI 2026 will require in-person presentation of all accepted papers, and hence there must be one author of each accepted paper available to present it in-person.

Proposal Selection Criteria
- the expected impact and quality of the contributed papers;
- the background and diversity of the session organizer(s) and contributing authors.
- Selection of a special session proposal does not guarantee final acceptance of the special session. Papers submitted to special sessions will undergo a rigorous review identical to that for regular submissions; thus, the final disposition of the session will depend on the outcome of the paper reviews. If a paper nominated for a selected special session is not accepted, it is possible that another paper from among the regular submissions could be substituted in its place.
- In all cases, every effort will be made for the special session to be scheduled as a lecture session.
- Proposals should be submitted by email to iceesi2026.33d@gmail.comm
